The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) could be drawn to Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) after the truth comes out about his true paternity.

Being a ‘Winters’ could change everything for Claire and Holden’s romance, so let’s unpack all the possibilities!

Both Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) made splashing returns to Genoa City during the Tuesday, April 7 show: both coming back to the little town to drop some bombshell secrets.

As for Malcolm, he’s dealing with a rare condition known as aplastic anemia.

Malcolm had a heartfelt conversation with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the Neil Winters Jazz Lounge, asking her to get tested as he needs a bone marrow donation that can only come from a family member.

As Lily is Malcolm’s biological daughter, one would think she could easily be a match; however, it looks like there’s a massive plot twist in this storyline.

Stephanie had two shocking revelations upon her return, with the first one being that she’s Holden’s mother.

What a small world, that Holden would end up in the same town she once spent time in, right?

With that said, Stephanie’s other stunning truth is that she wanted to talk to Holden about his biological father, so all arrows are pointing toward Malcolm being Holden’s dad, as Stephanie and Malcolm were a thing in the 1990s.

It’s not hard to see that in the end, Lily might not end up being a match for Malcolm’s bone marrow transplant, but Holden likely will.

Meanwhile, Holden still carries a major torch for Claire and is hanging onto hope that he can win her back.

The two weren’t a bonafide couple, but they did entertain a romance and did slip through the sheets while hanging out in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, Claire ended things abruptly with Holden as she felt she couldn’t trust him.

There was just something sketchy about him, and his story about the art gallery owner that he shared with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Claire wanted the “whole” truth, and Holden stalled on this, so Claire walked away from their relationship moving forward.

Still, the two aren’t on terrible terms, and as the week of April 6-10 progresses, Claire will see a different side to Holden.

It sounds like she may feel drawn to him for whatever reason. Perhaps Claire sees him spending time with his mom and witnesses how soft he can be around Stephanie.

Then again, she could catch him in a vulnerable moment after learning about Malcolm being his father.

This could open a door for Claire where Holden is concerned, and at the very least, drop some walls down for the woman just enough for Holden to re-enter her orbit.

Still, imagine how taken aback (in the best possible way) Claire will be when Holden pushes everything aside to donate his bone marrow to Malcolm.

While yes, he’s his father, Holden barely knows the man, and going through the surgery and recovery will take time. Will Claire be by Holden’s side during this all to provide support?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that as Holden officially becomes a Winters, this may change the game for him and how he’s viewed in Genoa City, but can he also win Claire’s heart in the process, too?
