For years and also years, Young & Restless’ Patty has been about one man and one man only: her former husband, Jack. And though she’s returned to the canvas as into him as ever, she’s also come back a bit different, a little evolved — perhaps enough to consider striking up a relationship with someone who actually wants to be with her?

When Soaps.com recently spoke with portrayer Stacy Haiduk, we had to ask: Has Patty noticed that there are a lot of handsome men in Genoa City besides Jack? “Well,” the actress replied with a laugh, “I think she noticed the Abbott brothers, all of them in one room [on the yacht].

“I mean, I think she could have had some champagne [brought] into the room,” she continued, “and we could have all had a party!”

All kidding aside, Haiduk noted that Patty’s vision is fine. So of course “she notices there’s many, many good-looking men in Genoa City. But I think she only has eyes for Jack at this moment.”

That’s good news for Genoa City’s male population in that they can rest assured none of them will become Patty’s new obsession anytime soon. But it’s also bad news, because who knows what a wild ride an affair with her could be for one daring fella? “Somebody,” Haiduk concluded, “needs to sweep her off her feet and romance her!”
