How many fathers arrive with love in their hands and still get read as interruption.
And it is about what happens when someone refuses that reading without becoming what the system expects.
Samuel Rhodess did not come to kick the door in.
That line matters too.

A refusal to internalize someone else’s small imagination of where you belong.
